Chandler, Arizona real estate has been some of the most sought after property in the Phoenix area. Chandler is located in the Southeast Valley of the Phoenix Metro. It is surrounded by Gilbert, Arizona, Mesa, Arizona and Tempe, Arizona. The San Tan Mountains and Superstition Mountains are visible from Chandler and are very beautiful.  In the last few years, Chandler has been one of the fastest growing cities in the Phoenix area.  Chandler is well known for its quality of life.  Chandler has several high tech employers including chip maker Intel.

Chandler, Arizona offers many things to do including many nearby hiking trails, beautiful city parks including Snedigar Sportsplex and Tumbleweed Park. Chandler, AZ is close to many nearby attractions and venues including the Phoenix Suns, the Arizona Diamond Backs, and the Arizona Cardinals. The Fiesta bowl is an annual event held in the Phoenix area. The 2008 Superbowl will be held in the area at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ.

Chandler gives you a great first impression because the common areas and road medians are professionally landscaped and so well kept due to mandated upkeep and regular maintenance.  The Parks and Recreation Dept has done a great job of managing and maintaining the city parks and other recreational facilities.  Snedigar Sportsplex has one of the best skate parks in the country. It also has wide open areas for playing and picnicking, it has softball and baseball fields, and volleyball courts.  Tumbleweed Park has a children’s train museum, and Playtopia.  Playtopia has Farmland, City Land and Critter Land.  Chandler, AZ continues to have a small town feel but is very close to all that the Phoenix metro has to offer.

Real estate in Chandler, AZ has grown in volume over the last 10 years.  Much like Gilbert, AZ, a very large number of homes are 10 years old or less due to the very high interest in living in Chandler.  Chandler has many very desirable subdivisions and to go along with the housing growth, the commercial growth has been very strong as well.  It needed to be because of the high demand for grocery stores, restaurants and many other services and retailers.  

 In March 2008 there were 257 homes sold in Chandler AZ with an average sales price of $280,442.  The average sales price to list price was 95.42% (for example: if a house was listed at $100,000 it would sale for $94,420) and they averaged 119 days on market.
